同じ月を見ていれば、人はいうけれど、それでも直接見えないことがかえって悲しく思える時がある。だったら私が月の上に行けばいいね、と言って月の上に行ったら、昼と夜の境が逃げていった。自転車で追いかけたらちょうどよくて、そうすれば、とっても遠くても、私はあなたの目線に触れている。

People say we are looking at the same moon, yet there are times when the inability to see you directly feels all the more sorrowful. "Then I should just go to the moon," I thought. And so, I went. On the moon, the boundary between day and night began to slip away. Chasing it on a bicycle felt just right—for as long as I do, no matter how far apart we are, I am touching your gaze.
